Lost in the Dark

Once, I was flying freely,

I could see the big blue sky,

I could hear bird's singing,

The laughing voice of the children.

The tree were whispering to each other,

I could even feel the wind passing by,

The refreshing breeze.

But soon, everything was taken away from me.

I was in hell,

It was suffering and torturing,

For I could not see, hear nor feel anything anymore.

I was kept in a cage,

Trapped in the dark,

Crying silently.

I could not hear my own voice anymore,

Not even my heart beat nor the breathing sound.

It was so quiet,

Silent,

I was alone,

Lonely.

Sadness and sorrow conquer my mind,

My heart was torn into pieces.

But soon, I heard a new voice,

A voice that was unfamiliar with,

Calling my name,

Calling me out.

When I open my eyes,

And there you are,

Standing where the light shines,

Like an angel.

It hurts my eyes,

For I had not seen the light for a long long time.

You took my hand,

You took me out from the cage,

You saved me from the dark.

You led me to the blue sky,

You brought the laughing voice of the children to me,

You brought everything I had lost back to me,

The broken wing that could fly again,

Flying freely in the sky.

The light you gave to me,

It was warmth.

Before, I cried because of sadness,

But now, I cried because of happiness.

The hope and happiness that you brought to me,

I'll treasure it for all eternity.

No matter what,

I'll remember those word that you told me.
